- List G.P.A. if 3.0 or better
- List your projects
- Campus Involvement
- Objective must be brief! 6-14 words
- List 4-10 relevant courses
- Computer skills
- List any work experience
- Accomplishments
- No High School Information (few exceptions)
- Leadership
- Community service
Format
- Margins- .7 all around; possible .5 top/bottom
- Use ruler bar and set your own tabs; DO NOT USE THE SPACE BAR!!
- Name in 16-20 font; all other text same size; preferably 12/11
- Avoid using tables
- Always use past tense
- Keep information uniform, consistent and in alignment
- In MS Word, bullets can be tricky; keep bullets/characters simple/not too many
- Use all Caps, bold, italics; avoid underline
- Limit punctuation
